ENDED 31ST OCTOBER 2007
We have raised £5,000.
On behalf of Macmillan Cancer Support and the National Coastwatch Institution, Lesley and her wonderful team of fellow organisers thank everyone who contributed to these charities. The following list is a very short recognition of some of the sponsors, donators and supporters.

A friend of Graham’s since the ‘70s and fellow Camels Rugby Club member and player, Rick Stein, and The Seafood Restaurant, made the first major cash donation. Rick is also a Patron of NCI Stepper Point. |
Graham’s brother and sister-in-law, Jonney and Felicity Hawkey, run the Cornish Arms at Pendoggett. Supported by Sharp’s Brewery they have named a beer in memory of Graham to support the Cycle Cornwall challenge. |

The result is Tylu Coref (Cornish for family beer) and Sharp's contribute £7.50 for every barrel purchased by the pub. This special beer is on tap until the end of November at the Cornish Arms. |
Bridge Bike Hire provided Lesley’s bike, cycle advice and support in emergencies - greatly needed with one buckled wheel, one bent mudguard and a flat tyre.

The Cornish Arms, Pendoggett, one of our major fund raisers, who also hosted a Fund Raising Day on Sunday 14th October, raising over 900 pounds for the charities, with help from sponsors and a pub full of generous patrons.

Tony and Ann Gregan, North Cornwall Advertiser, friends of the Hawkey family and supporters of the Cycle Cornwall challenge. |
Hayley Orbon, graphic designer who designed the logo and poster. |
| Surfanytime is the broadband sponsor for NCI St Ives weather station and webcams and has provided Lesley with a connectivity solution for traveling Cornwall on her bike with Toshiba laptop in her backpack. It’s a subsidised rate for the 60 hours package which enables Lesley to connect wherever there is a telephone line. Lesley and Stewart will donate the saving to the two charities. | |
Lusty Glaze is a stunning beach and adventure centre where Lesley stayed on Saturday 29th after the trip from Padstow to Newquay. Lesley and Stewart will donate accommodation fees to the two charities.
Ernie Biddle, Surveyor, provided route advice and the best maps possible – see the Camel Trail section at www.destination-cornwall.co.uk for details of his detailed maps.
