Outline tide and moon information for March

Moon in March: New Moon 15th, First Quarter 23rd, Full Moon 30th, Last Quarter 7th February.
The moon is a principal factor in the state of tides. New and full moons will yield spring tides, first or last quarter neap tides. Springs are very high and very low, neaps moderate movement. Low spring tides will give plenty of beach space available or foreshore to explore. On high spring tides there will be a minimum of beach space and foreshore available.
