Newquay Airport - St. Mawgan.The main Airport in Cornwall is Newquay which is ideally placed for travelling on to most parts of Cornwall. There are four Brymon Airways flights per day from London Gatwick.A Skybus service operates from Newquay to the Isles of Scilly, please see details below.

Penzance Heliport.Penzance Heliport is the base for British International Helicopters' flights to the Isles of Scilly and for their scenic flights (see text below). The Heliport is conveniently situated to the east of Penzance alongside the main A30 road and is less than a mile from the railway and bus stations. Car Park faclities:There is a large car park with night security. Space is always available.

Surface Transport.Penzance: A private shuttle bus service leaves Penzance Railway Station for the Heliport 30 minutes prior to each helicopter departure. Incoming flights are met to transport passengers to the Railway Station and other local destinations.St. Mary's: A private shuttle bus operates between St. Mary's Airport and Hugh Town. The bus leaves Hugh Town 40 minutes prior to each helicopter departure from St. Mary's Airport.

Plymouth Airport.Plymouth Airport is just over the Tamar River in Devon and for some parts of Cornwall, North Cornwall and South East this may be a better travel option.A Skybus service operates from Newquay to the Isles of Scilly, please see details below.

Exeter Airport.We include Exeter Airport as a service to Cornwall despite it's seeming distance from the Cornish 'border'. The road is dual carriageway to Launceston and beyond and some parts of Cornwall, especially the Launceston and Bude areas, are more easily reached from Exeter than Plymouth and Newquay.Exeter also offers alternatives in direct scheduled services, these are Birmingham, Cork, Dublin, Isles of Scilly and the Channel Islands.Chartered Services from Exeter Airport offer a good local holiday facility in the South West.A Skybus service operates from Exeter to the Isles of Scilly, please see details below.The Airport is situated off the A30 at Clyst Honiton, five miles east of the cathedral City of Exeter and two miles from the A30. Skybus operates frequent flights to St. Mary's, Isles of Scilly, from Land's End, Bristol, Exeter, Newquay and Plymouth. Services from Land's End and Plymouth are normally operated by Britten Norman Islander. All other services are primarily operated by DHC-6 Twin Otter. The Flight.Your flight includes a spectacular bird's-eye of the Cornish countryside and coastline. As the aircraft approaches Scilly over the Eastern isles, you are treated to a first dramatic glimpse of the Islands, spreading out before you like a jewelled necklace across the sea. Exeter - 6 flights per day, flight time 50 minutes.Bristol - 3 flights per day, flight time 70 minutes.Newquay - 9 flights per day, flight time 30 minutes.Plymouth - 1 flight per day, flight time 45 minutes.Land's End - There are frequent flights (up to 3 per hour) during the summer season starting at 0715 and finishing at approximately 1830, flight time 15 minutes.
